In many countries, dialysis treatment is seen as a luxury. Thousands of individuals die annually from the lack of access to adequate treatment.

What We Do: About Us

THE PROBLEM: COST

Many poor communities in underdeveloped countries cannot afford to spend a large sum of their earnings every month to undergo dialysis.

What We Do: Text

"The monthly cost of HD in most private hospitals average Rs 12000 and the yearly cost of dialysis is Rs 1, 40000, equivalent of $3000, which is in sharp contrast to an annual cost of $60,000 in the US and UK."

Khanna, Umesh. “The Economics of Dialysis in India.” PubMed Central (PMC), 1 Jan. 2009, www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2845186

Even though the cost for renal care is 95 percent cheaper than that of the United States, many families are unable to pay cover the costs due to their economic condition and inadequate healthcare programs.

WHAT WE DO

At CLEANSINGKIDNEY, our goal is to create fund at hospitals who typically receive a large number of dialysis patients who cannot afford treatment. Every dollar donated will be tracked and documented to allow everyone to see how their donations are helping the families of impoverished dialysis patients.
